	SINGAPORE ORIGINALS: WEISH Wednesday, 29 May 2013 From 8pm onwards Timbre @ The Substation weish has fiddled around in music-making for slightly less than a year now and has earned some talk in the scene of late, most notably for her role in bands such as sub:shaman, .gif and Muon. In her solo performances, she utilises looping techniques to construct each element live, from beat to bass, riff to melody--mostly from the mouth alone. Hers is a voice of modern displacement, suspended between talk and silence, comedy and despair, momentum and ennui, originality and cliche… between word and word and embarrassed, recurring word, not knowing what it sings about, and singing about not knowing much at all.
